MEET THE FOUNDER
Dr. Eman Elshamy is a multidisciplinary artist, curator, cultural entrepreneur, and the Founder of ARTEXPO Gallery for Art & Heritage.
With a professional background in Clinical Pharmacy, Critical Care Pharmacy, and Project Management, Dr. Elshamy has successfully combined scientific precision with artistic vision to build a unique path that bridges culture, heritage, innovation, and contemporary art.
Born in Saudi Arabia and deeply rooted in Egyptian civilization, her vision has been shaped by a profound belief in the power of art to preserve cultural identity and build meaningful connections between people and cultures. Her artistic practice is inspired by cultural heritage, human values, and the beauty of ancient civilizations, creating an ongoing visual dialogue between the past and the present, tradition and innovation.
Her artworks have been exhibited internationally across Europe and the Middle East, participating in exhibitions, cultural initiatives, and international art projects. Throughout her artistic journey, she has received recognition and honors from various cultural and artistic platforms for her contributions to art, cultural exchange, and heritage-inspired contemporary practice.
Dr. Elshamy also serves as a Member of the General Secretariat of the Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment (AUSDE), an international organization headquartered in the Arab Republic of Egypt under a headquarters agreement with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. AUSDE is a member of the Executive Office of the Forum of Specialized Arab Federations of the League of Arab States and a member organization of the International Islamic Council for Da'wah and Relief.
Through both her artistic and institutional roles, she actively supports cultural diplomacy, sustainable development, heritage preservation, and international cooperation through arts and culture.
In addition to her artistic and cultural activities, Dr. Elshamy is the creator and developer of Papyrus Prime®, an innovation inspired by the historic legacy of Egyptian papyrus. Through a specialized treatment process, she developed a contemporary material designed to transform traditional papyrus from a fragile and limited-use surface into a more flexible, durable, and versatile medium suitable for contemporary art, design, cultural applications, and creative industries.
This innovation is currently undergoing intellectual property protection and international patent registration procedures as part of a broader vision to revive one of Egypt's most significant cultural symbols and reintroduce it to the world through contemporary artistic and cultural practices.
Driven by her belief in the initiative "Art Today is Heritage Tomorrow," Dr. Elshamy founded ARTEXPO Gallery as an international platform that connects artists, collectors, curators, museums, cultural institutions, and creative leaders through exhibitions, publications, educational programs, and meaningful cultural partnerships.
Her vision extends far beyond traditional gallery representation. She is committed to building sustainable cultural bridges between Europe, the Middle East, and the international community, creating valuable opportunities for artists to expand their global presence, engage with diverse audiences, and contribute to meaningful cross-cultural dialogue.

At the heart of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Timeless Humanities brings together art, heritage, and culture in an exceptional international experience under the theme “Art Today is Heritage Tomorrow.”
The exhibition will host 400–600 international artists and designers from Europe, the United States, and the Arab world, while welcoming 15,000–25,000 visitors, including art collectors, investors, business leaders, diplomats, and decision-makers from around the globe.
Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their work before a distinguished international audience, build valuable professional connections, and engage with collectors, cultural institutions, and international media in one of the region’s most influential cultural settings.
